All prices are per person per night inclusive of VAT, and are based
on 2 people sharing on a Bed & Breakfast basis with free use of
the Southview swimming pool. Single
room occupancy may be provided subject to availability. Please telephone

We are pleased
to accept all major credit & debit cards subject to a £1
surcharge for credit cards or 50p surcharge for debit card transactions.
We DO accept American Express cards (subject to a 3.35% surcharge).
Please note
that a valid credit/debit card is required to secure your booking
even if you are paying cash, cheques can only be accepted 2 weeks
in advance of arrival.

Terms of Booking
How
to reserve a room:
On receipt
of a valid credit or debit card number we will confirm your stay.
We require start/expiry dates, 3 digit security number (last 3
on signature strip) and the postal code and house number relating
to the card. Alternatively, we will only accept a cheque for the equivelant of the 1st nights rate
as deposit, a minimum 2 weeks in advance of the commencement date.
For Bookings made more than 8 days in advance of arrival a non-refundable
deposit equal to the 1st nights Room Rate will be taken from your credit/debit card
at the time of booking with the balance payable on departure.
Payment in full is required for all 1 night stays at the time of booking.
We will send you an email or letter confirming
the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance
is.
Cancellation/Curtailment and Insurance:
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable.
For cancellations with more than 7 days notice, you will not be liable to pay the balance. For cancellations with less than 7 days notice, or curtailment, and if the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.
If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances but is only transferrable once to future dates within 3 months of the original date of stay. Failure to re-book new dates at the time of cancellation will result in your deposit being lost.
We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.
As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made.
Car
Parking:
Use of the
Southview Car park is Free, however we only have enough spaces
for 1 car per room. Please note that the car park is for CARS
only, NO vans, trucks or Trailers. (oversized 4x4 vehicles may
have difficulty parking onsite) Double parking may be required
during busy periods and you will be required to leave your car
keys with Reception.
Children
& Pets:
Because we
want ALL of our guests to relax and enjoy their stay at Southview,
we will not accept bookings with children under the age of 6 years
or with pets of any kind.
Check
in/out:
Check in times
are from 3pm on day of arrival with check out by 10.30am on day
of departure, please note that late departure may be available
subject to a £20 surcharge. Please ask for details upon
your arrival.
Breakfast
Times:
Breakfast
is served in the dining room between 8:30am and 9:30am only.
NON
Smoking Policy:
We
are an entirely NON SMOKING establishment and smoking is
NOT PERMITTED anywhere within the building. A covered designated
smoking area is provided for guest use outside. Any Guests causing
us suspicion of smoking in their rooms will be charged £50.
If you smoke in the room and we do not identify it until you have
checked out, your card details will automatically be charged.
Non-availability:
We would only
cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for
reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative
accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable
to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability
would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages
and Breakages:
Please take
care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for
any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation
or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We
do not normally charge for minor accidental breakages, but we
may charge you for the full cost to repair or make good if the
damage or breakage is significant or caused by misuse.
Liability:
We do not
accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member
of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to
be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or
contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data:
Any data gathered
during the course of this booking may be held on computer
